Full Suspension & Steering Repair in San Diego
Suspension work that involves spring compression, control-arm bushing presses, or pulling subframe components is shop work. The mobile side handles a lot of simpler suspension swaps — but anything involving coil springs under pressure goes on the shop lift with proper spring compressors. Safer for you, safer for the tech, done right.

Mobile handles some of this; the shop handles the rest
Our mobile side does sway bar links, outer tie rods, simple strut assemblies, shocks on trucks — see mobile suspension and steering. The shop is for the heavier stuff: spring compression, pressed-in ball joints, control-arm bushing presses, subframe components.
Why spring work is genuinely dangerous outside a shop
A compressed coil spring stores enough energy to seriously hurt someone if it slips off the compressor. We do that work on a proper bench, with proper compressors, with the vehicle on the lift. It is one of the main reasons the shop exists alongside the mobile side.
Plan for the alignment
Almost every suspension job changes the alignment. We line it up and rack it the same visit so you do not have to come back, do not eat your new tires, and drive away straight. See wheel alignment for what that involves.

Full Suspension & Steering Questions
The most common questions we hear about full suspension & steering in San Diego.
How do I know if I need new struts?
Bouncing more than two times after a bump, leaking fluid down the strut body, knocking over bumps, or a vehicle that feels floaty at highway speed. We inspect on the lift to confirm before replacing.
Why is this shop work instead of mobile?
Coil springs store thousands of pounds of force. Compressing them safely takes a real spring compressor on a bench, not a driveway tool. Some bushings need a hydraulic press. Read more at mobile vs shop.
Will I need an alignment after?
Yes, almost always. Suspension work changes the alignment geometry. We include alignment in the conversation up front so there are no surprises.
How long does a full strut job take?
A pair of front struts is usually a half day. All four corners with control arms or other related work can be a full 1 to 2 days.
Sway bar end links — do I need both sides?
Usually yes. If one side has failed the other side is the same age and almost certainly close. Replacing both is cheap and avoids coming back.
